Christian Louboutin has been designated to become an honorary citizen of Parabiago. The French designer has been working in the northern Italian shoe town since 1994. Together with other local entrepreneurs, he founded in 2001 a company, Seymechamlou, that has been making its well-known women's shoes with a red outsole.
