Italy’s exports grow faster than expected
Italy's shoe production declined by an estimated 1.2 percent during the first half of this year, according to the country's shoe industry association, Assocalzaturifici. While the Italian households' consumption retreated by 1.6 percent during the period, the country's shoe exports went up by 4.0 percent in terms of value.
