Uzbekistan ramps up footwear production, export
Over the past six years, Uzbekistan made a lead forward in terms of footwear production and export, the Uzbek association of leather and footwear producers, Uzcharmsanoat, reported. In 2023, the country is expected to manufacture 246 million pairs of shoes, compared to only 10 million pairs in 2017.
