A majority of consumers in Germany, the US and Japan prefer multi-brand retailers when shopping for fashion and lifestyle products, while direct-to-consumer retailers are losing key consumer touchpoints, a study from Roland Berger showed. The global consultancy firm surveyed over 1,800 consumers in the three countries.
